Having an diverse background has been beneficial in multiple ways. Being of Mexican and Polish descent (with a hint of Japanese traced back a few generations ago), has given Rosemary a multi-faceted perspective on the world around her. Despite a rich family history and childhood study in art and singing, she has finally settled on filmmaking after spearheading her high school's Artistic Vision Academy.

Rosemary Dominguez was born in Los Angeles, and after spending some time in Michigan returned to live there. Her fascination with film began when a high school counselor recommended taking a telecommunications class after being cut from the volleyball team. From there she studied broadcast journalism and learned basic editing techniques. She produced three films, one – After the Storm, was awarded a scholarship. She was also recognized by the Artistic Visions Academy at John Marshall High School for her contribution to the program.

After high school she decided to attend California State University Northridge and major in Film Production. There she studies editing. Her first college short A Taste of Deceit was well received. Her second film, Out Sorcery, was accepted into the 2011 Comic-Con Film Festival.

Apart from school, in 2008 she worked on music videos for bands such as Cinder Road. There she learned how to import P2 footage and acted as assistant editor. In the summer of 2011 she worked on a feature entitled I Am I, alongside director Jocelyn Towne (wife of The Big Bang Theory star Simon Helberg). During that time she experienced life on a working film set, and more importantly how to manage and control affairs on one.

When she completes college, she plans to go to school for her Masters degree.

Rosemary's other interests include music, reading the news, and learning about history.
