Michelle has lived in Southern California all her life. Up until she started college at CSUN, she lived in Santa Clarita, CA. All she had was movies as a kid - no television. She found them to be a great escape from the real world. Growing up watching countless of films, she's always known that she wanted to make movies. She has never stopped for a moment to bring that dream to fruition.

Michelle is the first in her family to go directly to a university after high school. She was originally a Screenwriting major at CSUN. Writing has always been an innate ability for her; she has been writing since before she can remember. She is a published writer in a couple of volumes in her high school’s award-winning literary magazine, The Centinel, and in a version of the International Book of Poetry. Upon being accepted into the Film Production option she switched majors, emphasizing in Cinematography. She felt it was an opportunity she could not pass up; it was a new challenge.

Since being in the Film Option, Michelle was the Director of Photography for the short, "Draw One In the Dark". She has worked on other student films, including the senior thesis films "Absolution" and "Carousel", as Grip / Electric, Art Department, Production Assistant, and more. On other shorts, she has also worked as 1^st Assistant Director, Script Supervisor, and 1^st Assistant Camera, all the while going to school and working full time. Michelle is willing to work as just about everything on and off set for the experience of it all.

She was also awarded the Women In Film Scholarship this past May based upon her adaptation for the novel, The Intelligencer, for which she is still trying to get the rights. Shortly after, she interned for the DDA Public Relations via The American Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France. Michelle continues to write creatively.
